We are over on Hosur Road, specifically near Desai Sheri in Sagrampura. It’s house number 34. Most of the time, the office is full of maps and blueprints lying around on the desks. We spend a lot of time talking to contractors and checking on how the building sites are doing. It’s not always easy because things get delayed or the weather doesn't cooperate, especially during the rainy season. Being a developer means a lot of phone calls and waiting for permits to come through from the office. Sometimes it feels like we spend more time waiting than actually building things. The area here in Sagrampura is quite old and the streets are narrow, so getting materials in and out is a bit of a headache sometimes. We’ve had this space for a bit and it works for us. There is always tea being made in the back and people dropping by to ask about plots or prices. We don’t really do big advertisements or anything. Most people just walk in because they saw the sign or heard about us from someone else in the neighborhood. It’s a practical way to run a business. We try to keep things simple and not make promises we can't keep. It’s just work, really. Dealing with bricks and cement and a lot of people every single day. We just stay busy and keep going.
