Mahamaya Spring Company

We are located at 7 Main Road, right where it meets Pottery Road. It is a very industrial part of the area, and Mahamaya Spring Company fits right in. The main thing you will notice when you walk in is the sound of metal hitting metal. We deal with all sorts of springs, from small ones to the really heavy-duty types used in machinery. The floor is usually covered in a bit of oil and metal shavings, so you have to watch your step. It is a hot environment because of the machines running, especially during the summer months. We have a small workbench where we do the manual checks and packing. The walls are stained with years of work, and there are tools hanging everywhere. We don't have a fancy showroom; people just come to the counter and tell us what they need. Sometimes we have to custom make a spring if someone brings in an old part that we don't have in stock. It is dirty, hard work, but we take it seriously. There is a lot of heavy lifting and measuring to make sure the tension is just right. We usually have a few crates of finished products waiting by the door for pickup. The traffic on Pottery Road is always heavy, so the building shakes a little when the big trucks go past. It is just a place where we work with our hands every day.
