We are situated at 1/3, 9th A Main Road in Jayanagar 2nd Block. Jayanagar is a bit different from the heavy industrial zones; it has more trees and a bit more of a neighborhood feel, even though it’s still very busy. Our office here is where we handle a lot of the logistical side of our cable and wire business. We have rolls of different types of wiring tucked into corners and a lot of sample books lying around on the desks. The morning starts with a lot of phone calls and emails about orders that need to go out to various parts of the country. It’s a lot of coordination. The building isn't brand new, so the stairs creak a bit and the windows rattle when a heavy bus goes by on the main road. We have a small kitchen area where we make coffee, and that’s usually where you’ll find someone complaining about the Bangalore traffic. We don't use a lot of big words or have fancy presentations for our visitors. Usually, we just sit down at one of the cluttered tables and show them the actual products. It’s a fairly relaxed atmosphere, but we do get stressed when the shipping deadlines approach at the end of the month. Most of us have been working here in Jayanagar for a long time, so we know the best spots for lunch nearby. It’s a decent place to work.
