Kushal electricals

The shop is on the first floor over at MT Street in Chickpet, specifically at number 52, just on the 2nd cross. If you know Bangalore, you know Chickpet is always crowded and noisy, but that’s where all the electrical stuff happens. Kushal electricals has been in this building for some time now. There are wires hanging in different spots and boxes of switches stacked up toward the ceiling. It’s not the biggest space, being on the first floor, but we make it work somehow. Most of the day is spent pulling down rolls of cable or testing bulbs to make sure they actually light up before someone takes them home. We deal with a lot of different contractors and also just regular people who had a fuse blow out at home. The stairs up to the shop are a bit narrow, so you have to be careful if you’re carrying a heavy box. Trying to keep things organized is a challenge, though sometimes when it gets busy, things end up in the wrong piles. It’s just how it is when you’re dealing with thousands of small parts and different brands of plugs. We don't really do much besides sell the gear people need for their wiring. Opening up early and staying until the market starts to quiet down in the evening is our routine. It’s a lot of work but it keeps us busy. Our space doesn't have air conditioning so it gets hot, but nobody seems to mind too much.
