Klene Paks Limited

Out here on Bannerghatta Road, things have changed so much since we first started at the 7th Mile. Klene Paks Limited has been in this spot for a long time. Back then, it was mostly empty space around us, but now the traffic is something else entirely. We make packaging materials, so the sound of the machines is the background music to our lives. It’s a big site and we spend a lot of time walking between the office and the production floor. The dust from the road and the heat from the plant make it a real working environment, not one of those air-conditioned glass boxes. We deal with a lot of plastic and heavy-duty bags. Our mail goes to P.B.No.7611, and checking the post is still a daily ritual for us. We aren't interested in being the biggest or the loudest company in Bangalore. We just want to make sure the bags we produce are strong enough for whatever they are going to carry. The staff here mostly lives nearby, so we’ve grown up with the neighborhood. We eat our lunch together and talk about the kids or the local news. It’s a practical business. We get the raw materials in, run the machines, and send the finished paks out. It's honest work and it keeps us grounded here on the south side of the city.
