Down here in Peenya Industrial Estate, things are always moving. Our spot is at B-124 on 3rd Cross, right in the middle of all the noise and activity of the 1st Stage. We spend our time working on transformers, which is heavy work and gets pretty hot in the summer months. You’ll usually see us covered in a bit of oil or dust because that’s just the nature of what we do. We’ve got a small crew of people who really know their way around a coil and a core. We aren't interested in making things look flashy for a catalog. We just want the equipment to work like it's supposed to. Most mornings start with a cup of tea and a look at the schedule for the day. Sometimes a delivery truck gets blocked on the narrow street, so there’s a bit of shouting and moving things around. It’s just how life goes in Peenya. We’ve been at this for a long time now. People know us by name around the estate. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that, just some honest folks trying to build things that last. If you walk into our shop, you’ll hear the hum of the machines and see everyone busy with their hands. It’s practical work. We take care of our tools and we take care of the tasks in front of us. It is what it is.
