Kamala Netralaya

Kamala Netralaya is our little eye clinic situated at 8 on 17th Cross. We are quite close to the BDA Complex, which makes it easy for folks to tell us where they are going. The street outside can get a bit dusty when the wind picks up. We focus on eyes, obviously. People come in when they can't see the signs clearly or need a new pair of glasses. We have a few rooms where we do the exams. It’s a simple setup. We don’t have a big corporate office feel. It’s more like a neighborhood shop where everyone knows each other. The chairs in the waiting area are a bit stiff, but they do the job. We usually have the radio playing softly in the background to kill the silence. 17th Cross is a familiar spot for most locals. We’ve seen a lot of families come through over the years. Some kids who came in for their first glasses are now grown up. It makes the time feel like it's moving fast. We don't do much fancy stuff. Just checking eyes and making sure people can see where they are walking. The BDA Complex is a good landmark if you get lost. Just walk towards it and you’ll find us. We keep the place clean and the lights bright so we can see what we are doing. We usually lock up around six unless someone is running late. It is just a regular local clinic.
