Kamala Nethralaya

We sit right near the BDA Complex in Koramangala 4th Block, specifically on 7th Cross at number 81. It is a good spot because people know the landmark, but the parking is always a bit of a headache for everyone involved. Our day starts early, usually with someone sweeping the front step and getting the lights on in the testing rooms. It is an eye clinic, so it is mostly about quietness and waiting. We have the usual eye charts and those machines that puff air into your eye, which nobody ever really likes. The chairs in the waiting area are a bit worn out from use, but they are comfortable enough for a short stay. We do not really do the whole corporate thing here. If you come in, you are probably going to see the same three or four people every single time. We know the regulars by name and we know which neighbors are likely to be late for their appointments because of the traffic coming from 3rd Block. It is just a regular local business. We do not have a big marketing plan or anything like that. We just make sure the equipment is working and that we give people the right advice about their vision. Sometimes the rainy season makes the walls a bit damp, but we just deal with it. It is a practical place for people. When the sun goes down, we lock up.
