Getting to Peenya Industrial Estate every morning is always a bit of a challenge with the traffic, but once you're at A-5 in the IIIrd Stage, things settle down into a routine. Kalimata Plastic Machinery Manufacturer Pvt. Ltd. is basically a big workshop full of metal and grease. We spend our hours putting together these machines. It’s loud, and there is always the smell of cutting oil in the air. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby. If you come by, you’ll probably find someone in overalls or with grease on their hands. The floor is concrete and has plenty of scratches from moving heavy parts around over the years. We’ve seen this industrial area change a lot. Some neighbors have left, and new ones have come in, but we stay put here in the third stage. It’s not the cleanest job, but it’s what we do. The machines take up a lot of space, so it’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes when we have a few big projects going at once. We usually eat lunch together in the small back room or just standing near the workbench if things are busy. It is just a regular factory life. No one wears a suit here unless there is some very strange reason for it. We just focus on the metal and the assembly, day in and day out, making sure everything is put together right before it leaves the shop floor.
