Our office and works are based at B 14 in the ITI Ancillary Industrial Estate. We’re out in the Mahadevpura area, which used to be a lot quieter than it is now. Kabelschlepp India has been here for years, and we’re part of that old guard of manufacturing companies that settled near the ITI factory. We make cable carriers and protection systems, so the sound of metal and plastic being processed is something we hear every day. The estate itself has a lot of history, and you can see it in the older buildings and the mature trees around the plots. Our space is functional and mostly taken up by the production floor. The office part is just a few rooms where we handle the sales and engineering. It can get pretty dusty with all the construction going on in Mahadevpura, but we just keep the doors closed and stay busy. We don’t have a big HR department or a PR team. It’s mostly just engineers and technicians who have been doing this for a long time. We take our tea breaks together and talk about the traffic on the way in. It’s a steady environment where we focus on getting the parts right. There are no flashy displays here, just rows of cable chains and the tools we use to put them together. It’s a solid, hardworking place in a busy industrial corner of the city.
