International Tools (India)

We are located at Plot No 74-75 on Silver Jubilee Park Road. If you know the City Market area, you know how crowded it can get. S.P. Road is famous for all kinds of hardware and tools, and International Tools (India) has been part of this street for a long time. Our shop is packed with heavy boxes and metal items. There is hardly any room to walk when we get a fresh delivery of stock. Everything is made of steel or iron, so the place has a very specific metallic smell. The traffic outside is constant. You can hear the horns and the shouting of the vendors in the market all day long. It’s a very energetic place to work, even if it is a bit exhausting. We have old wooden counters where we talk to the customers. Most of them are contractors or mechanics who know exactly what they need. We don't spend time on fancy talk. We just find the tool, check if it works right, and hand it over. The building is old and the stairs are a bit narrow, but it has character. Working in City Market means you have to be quick and alert. We take turns going out to get coffee or a quick snack from the street stalls. By the time we close the shutters at night, our arms are usually tired from lifting heavy equipment all day. It’s just the way it goes on Silver Jubilee Park Road.
