Infineon Technologies is over on MG Road in Bangalore. We’re at number 11, specifically in the Yellappa Garden and Yellappa Chetty Layout area of Sivanchetti Gardens. It’s an interesting spot because MG Road is so famous for being busy and modern, but our little corner has a bit of an older feel to it. The garden area makes it a bit nicer than just being in a concrete box. We have a lot of rooms and hallways that can be a bit confusing if you’re new. It’s a big space but it feels lived in. We’ve got desks piled high with papers and various electronics. The air conditioning is usually blasting because the Bangalore sun can get pretty sharp through the windows. We’ve got a mix of people working here, some who have been in the industry for decades and some younger ones fresh out of school. It’s a quiet atmosphere for the most part, with people focused on their monitors. We don't have any big corporate mottos on the walls. Instead, we have calendars, photos of family, and maybe a few old posters. Lunchtime is usually when the place livens up, as people head out to the local spots nearby. Being in Sivanchetti Gardens means we’re close to everything, which is handy. We just keep our heads down and do the technical work that’s required of us, without making too much of a fuss about the whole thing.
