Our office is over in Kalyani Platina, specifically on the third floor of Block 1. If you know the EPIP Zone in Phase II of Whitefield, you know how crowded it gets around here. There are two units we use, number 6 and 24. It’s a decent sized space but it feels smaller when everyone is in at the same time. The lift is sometimes slow, so a few of us just take the stairs to the third floor to save time. It’s good exercise anyway. We work on a lot of semiconductor things, though most of the day is just meetings and emails like any other job. The view from the windows is mostly just other glass buildings and the road below. We have a tea lady who comes around, which is probably the highlight of the afternoon for most of the staff. People here are mostly into their work, wearing headphones and typing away. It’s not a loud place usually. Sometimes we go out for a quick walk in the EPIP area just to get some fresh air, though the dust from the construction nearby makes that less fun than it sounds. Parking can be a bit of a headache if you get in late, so most of us try to arrive early. It’s just how it is working in this part of town. We’ve been here long enough that the security guards know our faces. It's a steady routine with no surprises.
