Idea Works

Our shop is tucked away on Mahathma Gandhi Road, right near Pada Pole 11. It’s a bit of a hectic area with all the traffic, but we like it here. Idea Works isn't a massive corporate office. It's a small place where we handle whatever projects come through the door. We spend a lot of time at our desks, mostly working on computers or sketching things out. The walls are covered in old notes and some sketches from last year that we never took down. There’s always a smell of coffee in the air because we drink way too much of it. We don't have a receptionist, so if the bell rings, whoever is closest to the door goes to see who it is. Sometimes it’s just a delivery, other times it’s a client wanting to check on a deadline. We try to stay on top of things, but some days are more productive than others. The lighting in the back is a bit dim, but we’ve got good lamps. We've been at this location for a bit now and the neighbors are alright. We mostly just keep to ourselves and focus on the work. It’s not always glamorous. There’s a lot of sitting and staring at screens. But we enjoy the process of making things. If you're walking down MG Road, you might miss us if you aren't looking closely at the signs near number 11. We try to keep the place tidy but it doesn't always work. The floor gets dusty from all the foot traffic.
