Being located within the M.s. Ramaiah Memorial Hospital grounds in M.s.r. Nagar makes for a very fast-paced environment. This oncology center is tucked away near the Msrit Post, so there are always students from the nearby institute walking around or heading to the post office. The atmosphere here is very much centered on the hospital routine. The hallways are usually filled with the sound of rolling carts and people talking in low voices about their appointments. We focus on cancer care and keeping the equipment running properly. The staff here mostly lives nearby or commutes through the busy streets of north Bangalore. It’s a practical setup with a lot of clinical rooms and a front desk that stays occupied from morning until evening. We don't go in for big marketing slogans or anything like that; we just focus on the oncology cases that come through the door every single day. The building itself has seen a lot of use over the years, and it shows in some of the wear and tear, but it’s a functional space. There’s a lot of coordination needed with the main hospital, so you’ll see people moving between the different wings quite often. It can get a bit confusing for new visitors to find the specific Curie center section, but once you’re here, the process is straightforward enough. We just do our jobs and try to stay organized in the middle of a very large medical complex.
