Globe Number Plates

Globe Number Plates is situated in the Rajajinagar Industrial Estate, specifically at Plot No 86 on the 3rd Main road. Being in an industrial estate means it’s a bit of a gritty environment with lots of workshops and small factories nearby. We fit right in. Our space is dedicated to making number plates, so there is a lot of metal pressing and painting going on throughout the day. You can hear the sound of the machines from the street. It’s a practical place, built for work rather than looking pretty. We have racks of plates and various paints lined up on the shelves. The air usually smells a bit like solvent or fresh paint, which is something you get used to pretty quickly. We spend our hours making sure the numbers are aligned and the finish is clean. It’s repetitive work, but it requires a steady hand. The industrial estate gets busy with trucks delivering materials, so it’s always a bit chaotic outside our doors. We’ve been operating from this plot for a good while. Most of our day is spent at the benches or checking the press. It’s not the kind of place you’d come for a fancy meeting, but it’s where things get made. We take the orders as they come and try to keep up with the demand from the local garages and individual owners who find their way to the 3rd Main. We just get the work done.
