Our office is located at number 19 in Peenya. If you know anything about Peenya, you know it is the industrial heart of the city, so there is always a lot of noise and movement. We are surrounded by big sheds and factories, and the sound of lorries reversing is something we hear all day long. It’s a very practical area, and our workspace reflects that. We don’t have any plush carpets or fancy art on the walls. It is just a concrete floor and some sturdy metal desks that can handle the dust that blows in from the road. We spend a lot of our time coordinating things and making sure everything is on track. The heat can get a bit much in the afternoons, so we have a couple of big fans that we keep running constantly. We usually get our lunch from a small canteen nearby that serves the local workers. It is a no-nonsense environment where everyone is busy doing their own thing. Sometimes we have to deal with power cuts, but that is just part of being in this area. We keep a stock of candles and torches just in case. The office might look a bit plain to an outsider, but it works perfectly for the kind of daily tasks we handle. We don't have a fancy lobby or a receptionist; if you come by, you’ll likely just find us at our desks working through a pile of papers.
