We are tucked away on the second floor of the Kristal Tiara building, which is right on Bellandur Cross Road. Being at S-24 means we have a decent view of the traffic down below, which is usually quite heavy in this part of Bangalore-37. Bellandur has grown so fast lately, and it feels like there is construction happening on every corner. Our office for Flextronics Design Ltd isn't huge, but it has enough room for our team to sit down and get through the day's work. It’s a typical commercial space with tiled floors and fluorescent lights that sometimes flicker a bit. We don't spend much time worrying about the decor; we’re more concerned with finishing our design tasks. The elevator in the building can be a bit slow, so a lot of us just take the stairs to the second floor. There are other businesses in Kristal Tiara, so you see a lot of different people coming and going in the lobby. For lunch, we usually head out to the small food stalls near the cross road or just bring something from home to eat at our desks. It’s a very practical environment. There’s no corporate jargon or fancy slogans on the walls, just some whiteboards with scribbles on them. It’s a bit noisy because of the main road, but you get used to the sound of horns after a few days.
