Ferrari Eastern Fans India Pvt. Ltd (Fefi)

You’ll find us over at No-5 & 6 in the Sadarmangla Indl Area. It’s right off Whitefield Road near Mahadevapura Post. The area is always buzzing with activity because of all the other factories around us. Ferrari Eastern Fans India Pvt. Ltd—or Fefi as we usually just say—is where we spend our daylight hours. It’s a big space because the fans we work on aren't exactly small. There’s a lot of metal clanging around here. The floor is concrete and stays cool even when the sun is hitting the roof hard. We move heavy parts with the lift, and you have to watch your step. It’s a noisy environment, so we do a lot of nodding and pointing to communicate. We have a small office tucked in the corner, but most of us are out on the floor. There’s usually a layer of dust on everything, no matter how much we sweep. We get our supplies delivered by big trucks that struggle to turn in the narrow lanes of the industrial estate. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. We take our breaks together and talk about the weekend. Sometimes we stay late when a big order needs to go out. The commute can be a bit of a headache with the traffic on Whitefield Road, but we’re used to it. It’s just how things are in this part of town. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
