Fairchild Semiconductor

We are based over in the DBS House building on Cunningham Road. It’s a pretty central part of the city. We’re up in Unit 202. It’s an office setup, nothing like a factory floor or a retail shop. Mostly we are sitting at desks with computers and phones. The building is one of those older shared office spaces where lots of different companies are tucked into different rooms. It can get a bit quiet in the hallways. We deal with electronic parts, specifically semiconductors, which are those tiny things that go into almost every gadget nowadays. Most of our work involves talking to clients or checking inventory lists on the screen. We don't actually manufacture anything here in this office; it’s more about the technical support and the business side of things. Outside on Cunningham Road, it’s always busy with cars and people heading to the nearby cafes. We usually go out for a walk during lunch just to get some air. The office has those typical grey partitions and a lot of wiring under the desks. It’s not the most exciting place to look at, but we get the work done. Sometimes we have meetings that go on too long. Other days it’s just us typing away. We’ve been at this address for a while now. It’s a good spot because it’s easy for people to find us, even with the Bangalore traffic. We just keep things moving and try to stay organized.
