Our place is located at 95 Siddartha Nagar, right on Dr TCM Royan Road. It’s the 4th Cross in Cheluvadipalya, which is a busy part of Bangalore-560053. Elcoteq Electronics India Pvt Ltd has been sitting here for a while. The road outside is always busy with people going to work or heading to the market. Inside, we have our work benches set up for the electronics work we handle daily. It’s a basic environment. We don’t have air conditioning that works all the time, so we keep the windows open when it’s not too dusty. The smell of solder and old components is just part of the room now. We aren't trying to impress anyone with the decor. It’s mostly just metal shelves and some old fans spinning overhead. We get our tasks in the morning and try to finish them before the sun goes down. Sometimes we stay late if a shipment is due, but we prefer to head home before the traffic gets too crazy on Royan Road. It’s a bit of a walk to the nearest good food spot, so most of us bring tiffin boxes from home. We sit together and eat, then get back to the boards and wires. It’s just a regular job in a regular part of town. We keep it simple and focus on the benches in front of us.
