Out here in Kadambathur, life moves at its own pace. Elcoteq Electronics India Pvt Ltd is set up at 4/286 Ezhil Nagar, which is right in the Thiruvallur district. It’s not like the big city offices you see in the news. We deal with a lot of dust from the road and the heat can get quite heavy in the afternoons. Most people in the area know us as the place near the post office. We spend our days dealing with various electronic components and making sure everything is where it needs to be. It’s a simple setup. We don’t have fancy lounges or anything like that. Just some desks, chairs, and the equipment we use for the work. Sometimes the transport trucks are late because of the local traffic or the weather, so we just wait and do what we can in the meantime. The staff comes from nearby villages usually. We know each other well. We share snacks and talk about local news while we work. It’s a practical way to earn a living. The building is sturdy enough, and we keep things running as best as we can. It’s honest work and we stay busy enough to keep the days going by fast. Not much more to say really, we just keep the shop going and handle whatever tasks the day brings us.
