Divine Medical Centre

Living and working in HRBR Layout has its own rhythm. Divine Medical Centre is right along Banaswadi Road, which as anyone around here knows, can get pretty backed up with cars and buses during the rush hour. Our place is tucked in there, and we’ve become a part of the local scenery over time. It’s a simple setup we have here. We don’t have those fancy digital screens in the waiting room or a big reception desk that looks like a hotel. Instead, we have some old magazines and a water cooler that occasionally makes a loud gulping sound. Most of the people who walk through our doors are neighbors from the layout or people who work in the small shops nearby. We see a lot of the same faces, which makes the day go by a bit faster because we can chat about the weather or the local news. It’s just a few of us running the show, so we all end up doing a bit of everything, from answering the phone to cleaning up the front area. We don’t have a big mission statement or any of that talk. We just show up, open the shutters, and see who needs help that day. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy. Sometimes the rain leaks a little near the side door, but we just put a bucket there and keep moving.
