Digvijay Silk Traders

We are situated at number 1 Annadanappa Lane, just on the first floor. It’s right by the Avenue Road Cross, which is a very well-known area for anyone living in or visiting this part of town. Being on the first floor means we are just a short walk up from the street. Our shop is where we keep all our silk fabrics. When you walk in, you’ll see shelves reaching the ceiling, all filled with different colors and types of silk. It’s a lot to look at. We’ve been trading silk here for a long time. The space is a bit cramped because we try to fit as much stock as possible into the rooms. It’s not a modern showroom with bright spotlights. We use simple lights and have a couple of chairs for people to sit while they look at the cloth. The lane outside is always crowded with people and carts, so there’s a constant buzz of energy coming from the windows. We spend our days measuring out fabric, cutting it, and folding it back up neatly. We know our regulars by name and they know where to find us. It’s a traditional way of doing business. We don't have a website or anything like that. We just rely on the quality of the silk we have and the people who come back to us year after year.
