Decoressa The Stone Boutique is situated at 86/2 Shiyapura Lane in Basaveshwara Nagar. It’s a bit of a hidden spot, but once you find the lane, you can’t miss us. We have various types of stone lying around, so the place feels a bit like a warehouse sometimes. It’s heavy work, moving things around and showing people different samples. Our hands are usually a bit dusty by the end of the shift. We aren't salesy people; we just show what we have and let the stone speak for itself. Basaveshwara Nagar is a good neighborhood, quite peaceful compared to the rest of the city. We spend a lot of time talking to contractors and homeowners who are looking for something specific. It’s a lot of physical labor, so we’re usually pretty tired by the time we close up. The office part is just a small desk in the corner where we keep the invoices. We don't have any fancy lights or displays. It’s a practical setup for a practical business. We’ve been here at this location for a while now and the locals know us. We just keep doing what we do, day by day, and try to keep the inventory sorted. Sometimes a shipment comes in late and we have to stay to unload it, but that's just how the stone business goes. We don't make it more complicated than it needs to be.
