Dance With Pal

We've been over here in Basavanagar for a while now. The studio is tucked away near Dharkhadi in Vaishali Nagar, specifically on Suhasani Pawaskar Road 6. Most people find us by looking for the 6th cross in Panduranganagar. It gets pretty loud when the classes are in full swing, especially in the evenings when everyone gets off work and heads over from Bannerghatta Road. The floor gets a bit scuffed up from all the shoes, and we’re constantly sweeping it between sessions. There isn’t much fancy stuff here, just some mirrors and a sound system that occasionally acts up if the wires aren’t plugged in just right. We started out just wanting a place to move around without bumping into furniture at home. It’s a bit of a walk from the main road, but the neighborhood is quiet enough during the day. Sometimes the water cooler runs out faster than we expect on hot afternoons. Most of the regulars live nearby, so we see the same faces every week. It’s not a huge space, but it fits enough people for a good session. We keep the doors open when it gets too stuffy inside. Usually, someone brings tea or snacks and we sit on the steps outside after we're finished. It’s just how things go here at the studio. Nothing too complicated, just a lot of movement and keeping the beat.
