Damini

We are located over at 536 Kolla Complex on Avenue Road. It’s a busy part of town, always people moving around outside. Damini is basically our daily life. We open up the shop, move things around, and wait for the regulars to stop by. Avenue Road is usually crowded, so there is always noise coming in from the street. Our space in the complex isn't huge, but we make it work with what we have. Most of the time is spent keeping track of what we have in stock and talking to people who walk through the door. It’s not fancy work, just honest retail. We’ve seen the neighborhood change over the years, but the complex stays pretty much the same. Sometimes the lights flicker or the door squeaks, but it feels like home to us. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us who know where everything is kept. People know they can find us here from morning until the sun goes down. We don't do much marketing because word of mouth seems to work okay for us. It’s about being there every day and doing what needs to be done. We keep the shelves as tidy as possible, though it gets messy when we get new deliveries. It’s just how a small business goes on Avenue Road. We don't need much more than a bit of space and some good customers to keep going.
