Cute World.

Our little spot is on the first floor of the Prabhat Complex. It’s right on KG Road, which stays pretty hectic all day long. If you’re coming from the Mysore Bank side, it’s just a short walk from there. Being on the first floor means people have to know we’re here to find us, but we get a decent amount of foot traffic from the other shops in the building. The complex itself is older, so it has that specific smell of old concrete and tea. We spend our days mostly rearranging the shelves and moving things around. Things get messy fast when it’s a busy afternoon. We aren't really into the whole big corporate look, so the shop feels more like a storage room that people happen to shop in. There’s always a stack of empty boxes near the door that we keep meaning to throw out but never do. Sometimes the lights flicker a bit when the rain starts, but we just ignore it. We have a small counter where we sit and talk to whoever comes in. It’s mostly locals who know the area well. We don’t spend much on advertising because the location does the work for us. The traffic outside is loud, but inside it’s alright. We usually have the radio playing in the background to drown out the car horns. It’s just a normal day-to-day business. We show up, open the shutters, and see what the day brings. Nothing more to it than that.
