Confiant Design Boutique

Confiant Design Boutique is located on Panathur Road, right where things get busy between Marathalli and the Whitefield Main Road in Hoodi. It’s a fast-growing area, and the road outside is almost always blocked with cars and bikes. Inside our space, we try to keep things a bit more organized, though it doesn't always stay that way. We have racks of clothes we are working on and various sketches pinned to the walls. It’s more of a workshop than a fancy shop you’d see in a mall. We spend most of our time with measuring tapes around our necks, adjusting fabrics on mannequins. The light in the afternoon is quite good, which helps when we are doing fine embroidery or hand-stitching. We don't have a huge team, just a few of us who really like the process of putting a garment together. Sometimes we stay late because a customer needs something changed at the last minute. The neighborhood is full of tech parks, so it feels a bit strange to be doing this kind of manual work in the middle of it all. We don't use much marketing; we just rely on the people who live nearby and stop in. There is always a pot of tea going in the back, and the sound of the sewing machine is constant. It’s a small, busy place that feels very real to us.
