Columbia Asia Medical Centre - gipsa Ppn

Working over at Columbia Asia Medical Centre inside Kirloskar Business Park is a bit different than a normal hospital. Since we are right there on Bellary Road in Hebbal, we get a lot of people who are just passing through or work in the big office buildings nearby. The GIPSA PPN thing means we deal with a lot of insurance paperwork, which is probably the least favorite part of anyone's day here. The lobby is usually humming with people staring at their phones or waiting for their names to be called. It's a big place, so you can easily get lost in the hallways if you aren't careful. We see a lot of staff from the other businesses in the park coming in for checkups during their lunch breaks. The traffic outside on the way to the airport is always a mess, so we hear the honking all day long. Inside, it's mostly the sound of the air conditioning and people whispering. We don't really do the whole fancy corporate talk, we just try to get the charts moved and the patients seen so everyone can get home. The nurses are always on their feet, and the doctors are usually rushing from one room to another with their clipboards. It is a busy life, but it keeps us moving. The coffee machine in the breakroom is our best friend most mornings.
