We started Cloud Hospitality Consultants Llp a while back and decided to set up shop at 603, Tara Apartments over on Infantry Road. It’s a busy area but we like it here. People often ask what we actually do all day. Mostly, we sit around these desks talking to folks in the hotel and restaurant business about how to get things running smoother. We’ve seen a lot of kitchens and front desks in our time. Infantry Road is nice because the 132 building is easy enough for people to find. We aren't a big fancy office with a lobby or anything, just a group of us working through spreadsheets and plans. Sometimes it gets a bit loud outside with the traffic, but that’s just Bangalore for you. We spend a lot of time on the phone or meeting with owners who are stressed out about their staff or their menus. It isn't always easy work, and some days are longer than others when a project is dragging on. We don't have a big philosophy or some grand vision we talk about. We just try to show up, look at the numbers, and help figure out where the gaps are. If you're walking past the Tara Apartments, you might see us coming and going. We’ve been at this long enough to know that hospitality is mostly just hard work and paying attention to the small things that most people miss. We're just here doing our bit, trying to make the industry a little less chaotic for the people who actually run the places.
