Right next to the Tata Motors building at number 748 in Maruthi Seva Nagar is where you’ll find us at Clinical Research Consultant. It is a handy landmark because otherwise, we might be a bit hard to find in the middle of all the local shops. The area is always buzzing with cars and people, so it never really feels quiet inside our office. We spend our time looking at data and talking to various people about medical studies. It’s a lot of sitting at desks and staring at screens, but someone has to do it. The office itself is pretty basic. We have a few desks, some filing cabinets that don't always close right, and a lot of binders full of notes. We aren't a huge corporation with fancy branding. We are just consultants trying to make sense of the research we have in front of us. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but that’s just how things go here. We get a lot of noise from the Tata Motors side, but you stop noticing it after the first week. We don't have a dedicated receptionist, so if you come by, one of us will just look up from our work to say hello. It’s a straightforward way of working, focusing on the details of the research without any extra fluff or complications for the clients who visit us here. Most of our days are spent just keeping up with the emails and the phone calls.
