Chetan Surgicals

Chetan Surgicals is located at No. 44 on Mallikarjuna Temple Street, just off Bvk Iyengar Road. If you know this area, you know it’s packed with shops and people selling all sorts of things. It’s a very old part of the city, and the streets are quite narrow. We’ve been in this spot for years. Our shop is filled from floor to ceiling with boxes of surgical supplies. It’s a bit of a squeeze to walk through sometimes, especially when a new shipment arrives. We don’t have a fancy showroom. It’s more like a busy warehouse where people come to pick up what they need. The fan on the ceiling makes a clicking sound that we’ve just learned to ignore. My grandfather started this kind of work, and we just kept it going because it's what we know. It’s a lot of manual work, like lifting boxes or checking invoices by hand without a computer. The street outside is always loud with the sound of carts and people shouting, but we like the energy of it. We get our tea from the same guy every morning. It has been that way for the last ten years. It’s just a regular, family-run type of place. We don’t try to be anything else. We just sell the supplies and talk to the regulars who have been coming to us forever.
