At 89, 3rd Main in Manjunathanagar, you’ll find our office. It’s in the 1st Phase, just west of Chord Road in Rajajinagar. This part of Bangalore has a very specific feel to it, and Bharat Electronics Ltd fits right in. We’ve got a basic setup here—mostly just desks, some shelving for components, and a small area where we keep the records. It isn't a place with a lot of bells and whistles. We show up in the morning, get the fans going, and start on the day’s tasks. There’s a lot of coming and going because of where we’re located, so it never stays quiet for long. We don't have a fancy website or people who write brochures. We just talk to the people who come to the door and try to help them out with whatever they need. The floors are a bit worn down from people walking over them for years, but that’s just part of the character of the place. We like being in Rajajinagar because everything we need is close by. Whether it’s getting a part or grabbing a bite to eat, it’s all right here. We don't plan on moving or changing how we do things anytime soon. It's a simple operation run by local people. We have a small window that looks out onto the street, which is nice for watching the rain or the people passing by.
