Bharat Electronics Ltd

Bharat Electronics Ltd is over at 122, 4th Cross in Binny Layout. This is right in the heart of Vijaynagar, so it’s always buzzing with activity outside. The shop is a bit hidden if you aren't looking for the 4th Cross specifically. Inside, it’s a bit of a maze. We have shelves that go all the way back, filled with various electronic components and boxes. I’ve lived in Bangalore my whole life, and seeing how Vijaynagar has turned into such a major hub is amazing. Our little corner of the layout stays pretty much the same, though. The walls are a pale yellow, or at least they were when we first moved in. Now they are covered with calendars and notes we’ve pinned up over the months. We usually have a bit of a lunch break around one, and if the weather is nice, we walk down to the park for some air. The shop gets a lot of light in the morning, which is the best time to get the inventory checked. We don't do much in the way of fancy displays. Most of what we have is tucked away in drawers. It takes a bit of time to find things sometimes, but we usually get there. People in the layout know us well enough to just walk in and ask. It’s a very local way of doing things.
