You can find us at 8 Millers Tank Bund Road, which is quite close to the Cantonment Railway Station. The full name is Bhagwan Mahaveer Jain Heart Centre, and we are part of Srinivasa Cardiology Centre Pvt Ltd. It’s a bit of a long name for a place, but we just call it the heart centre. Being near the railway station means we see a lot of people who travel from different parts of the city or even further out. The building has been here for a good amount of time. It’s a solid structure, nothing too modern looking, but it works for what we do. We spend a lot of time in the cardiology unit. It can get pretty serious in here, but we try to keep a friendly atmosphere so people don't feel too nervous. The hallways are wide enough for stretchers, and we have the usual medical smell you find in hospitals. Our staff is a mix of older, experienced folks and some younger ones just starting out. We don’t have a big mission statement on the wall or anything. We just show up, look after the patients, and make sure the equipment is working. It's a busy place, especially when the trains arrive and more people find their way to us. We’re just a bunch of people working to keep hearts healthy in this part of town. We take our lunch breaks together in a small room in the back.
