BENEKIVA CONSULTING LLP is tucked away in Bhoganahalli. We are in No 304 on the 3rd Floor of the Saroj Whitesands Apartments. It’s on Gear School Road, so things get pretty hectic in the mornings and afternoons when the school buses are out. Working from an apartment building is quite common around here. It’s a quiet space once you get inside. We have a few rooms set up with desks and all the usual office gear. Consulting is what we do, so there’s a lot of talk about strategy and numbers. We aren't a big corporation with thousands of people. It’s just us in this apartment, doing our best to stay on top of our workload. The Bangalore area near Saroj Whitesands is booming with new buildings and apartments. We see the skyline changing every month. Sometimes the lift stops working and we have to walk up to the third floor, but it’s good exercise. We don't have any fancy mission statements or anything like that. We just come in, do the work, and head home. It’s a practical way to run a business, and it suits us just fine. We mostly communicate through chat apps and emails throughout the day. It’s a lot of screen time, but that is the nature of the job. We keep a stash of biscuits in the kitchen for when we get hungry in the late afternoon.
