Basil Studios

Basil Studios is located on the Banaswadi Railway Station Road, specifically at the 6th Cross on Hutchins Road. Bangalore 560084 is our home. Being so close to the railway station means there is always a lot of movement around our place. It can be a bit loud when the trains go by, but you get used to the rhythm of it. Our studio is tucked away on the 6th Cross, which is a bit quieter than the main stretch. It’s a nice little space that we’ve made our own. We aren't a big production house with millions in the bank. We are just a small group of people who enjoy working in this part of town. The office has a lot of character, with old windows and a bit of a creaky floor. We have our equipment set up and we spend most of our days here. Sometimes we stay late into the evening when there is a lot to get done. Hutchins Road has changed quite a bit over the years, with new shops opening up all the time. We like the energy of Banaswadi. Visitors sometimes find it tricky to find the 6th Cross, but once they do, they usually stay for a cup of tea. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe ourselves. We are just Basil Studios, working out of a small building near the station. It’s a good spot for us and we like it.
