Down at 7th Mile on Mysore Road, you will find us. Nayandahalli has changed a lot over the years, but we are still here doing what we do. Casting metal is not easy work, and it is definitely not clean. The heat from the furnaces is something you never really get used to, especially in the summer months. We mostly deal with malleable castings. It is a specific process. We have a lot of heavy equipment and patterns lying around the shop. It might look like a mess to someone from the outside, but we know where everything is. The traffic on Mysore Road gets pretty bad in the afternoons, so we usually try to get our deliveries out early in the morning. It is better that way. We are not a big corporation with lots of layers. Most of us just show up, put on our gear, and get to it. Sometimes the molds do not turn out right, and we have to start over. That is just part of the reality of working with molten metal. We spend a lot of time maintaining the machines because they take a beating. Our neighbors know us as the guys who have been here forever. We do not have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just have our hands and the metal we work with every day. It is steady work and it pays the bills. We have a small radio in the corner that has been playing for years.
