B R Motor City

We set up B R Motor City out here in Chikkajala Village, right on Bellary Road. It’s a bit different from being in the middle of the city because we have a little more space and the air feels a bit clearer. Being at 96/7, we get a lot of travelers who are heading out on the long road toward the airport or further north. The highway is always humming in the background. We have a simple setup where we handle repairs and general maintenance. It’s a lot of long hours because you never know when a car might break down on the road. We keep a few basic supplies like water and snacks for people who are stuck waiting for a long repair. The village atmosphere is nice; we know the local farmers and the people who run the nearby stalls. Our tools are well-used and we don't bother with painting the walls every year. We just focus on the engines and making sure the wheels are aligned. Some days the wind blows the dust in from the road, and we just sweep it out and keep going. We don't have any corporate rules or anything like that. It's just us doing the work and trying to be helpful to anyone who stops by. It’s a straightforward life, and we wouldn't have it any other way.
