Our place is tucked away in Hemandanahalli, near the Samethanahalli Post in Whitefield. It’s a bit of a drive to get out here, but it’s quieter than the main city roads. At Ayurvedagram Heritage Wellness Centre Pvt Ltd, we deal with a lot of traditional stuff. You see the old-style buildings and the greenery when you walk in. It’s not like those modern glass offices you see in the tech parks. We have people coming in all the time looking for some peace or a bit of help with their health. The staff here mostly wears simple clothes and we try to keep things calm. There’s always the smell of herbs or oils in the air. It’s been here for quite some time now. We spend the mornings getting everything ready for the day. The Samethanahalli area is still somewhat rural compared to the rest of Bangalore. You might see a few cows on the road on your way here. We don’t really use big marketing slogans. We just show people around and do the work. It takes a lot of effort to keep the heritage look of the place. We’re constantly fixing things or sweeping the paths. It’s a big space and there’s always something to do. Usually, it’s just the sound of birds or the wind. It’s our workspace and we like the pace of it. We take our time to make sure things are done right, without rushing around too much like they do in the city.
