Autoplanet

Autoplanet is our small business located at 35/2191 F on Southpipeline Road. It’s not on the main highway, so you have to look for the turn-off near the pipeline. We’ve been in this building for several years now. It’s a simple space, mostly just a front desk and a lot of storage in the back for all the auto supplies we keep. We spend most of our time answering the phone and checking the inventory lists. It’s a lot of manual work, moving boxes around and making sure the orders are correct. We don't have any flashy signs or big lights outside. Most people hear about us from other folks in the neighborhood. The office gets a bit warm in the summer because we don't have the best ventilation, so we usually keep the back door open to get a breeze. There are three of us who run the daily operations. We aren't experts in marketing or anything like that; we just know our parts and how to help people find what they’re looking for. Sometimes the paperwork piles up on the desk, but we eventually get through it all. It’s a quiet kind of life, just coming in, doing the work, and making sure the customers leave with the right items. We like being on Southpipeline Road because it’s easy for the delivery vans to find us without getting stuck in city center traffic.
