Aurigene Discovery Technology

You can find us at 39/40 on Anchee Road in Electronic City. We are pretty close to the Satyam office, which is a good landmark if you are coming into the area for the first time. Electronic City is always a bit of a maze with all the different phases and roads, but once you find Anchee Road, it is straightforward. Aurigene Discovery Technology is where we spend our days looking at molecules and doing discovery research. It sounds more exciting than it looks on some days, which is mostly just people in lab coats looking at screens or tubes. We have a decent setup here. The labs are the main focus, so the rest of the office is pretty basic. We have a coffee machine that breaks down more often than we would like, but when it works, it is the most popular spot in the building. The work we do requires a lot of concentration, so it stays fairly quiet in the hallways. Most of the staff are scientists who have been doing this for years. We aren't much for fancy marketing or big slogans. We just show up, do the research, and try to find answers to the problems we are working on. The traffic in Electronic City is famously bad, so many of us stay late to avoid the worst of the rush hour on the elevated tollway. It is just part of the routine here.
