Our shop is located at number 68/1, right on the Pipe Line Road near Sarakki Gate. It’s pretty easy to find once you are on Kanakapura Main Road because we are quite close to the M. N. S. Garments building. We handle goods that come from Assam, so the space is usually filled with stacks of handloom fabrics and different types of wooden crafts. It is not a very large place, but we try to keep things as organized as we can on the shelves. Most mornings start with us opening the shutters and dusting off the displays before the traffic gets too heavy outside. The noise from the main road is always there, but inside it stays fairly quiet unless we have a few people in at once looking at the silk sarees or the bamboo items. Because this is a government-linked setup, there is always a fair amount of paperwork to deal with, so you will often see us at the desk filing things or checking on new shipments. We don't do any flashy advertising or anything like that. People mostly just walk in because they saw the sign or they know we have specific items from back home. It is a practical way to run a business, and we just focus on keeping the stock ready for whoever needs it. The neighbors are nice, and we have been at this spot long enough that everyone knows where we are.
