Asrc Design House

Asrc Design House is on the ground floor over at 2nd Main in Bapuji Nagar. We are right on Mysore Road, so the sound of traffic is pretty much constant throughout the day. It’s a busy part of Kuvempu Nagar, and being on the ground floor means we see a lot of people walking by the windows. Our space is at 72 15, and we’ve set it up to be as practical as possible for the kind of design work we do. It’s not a sterile studio like you might see in a magazine. There are usually sketches lying around and samples of different materials piled up on the benches. We like the mess because it shows we are actually making things. We aren't the type to wear suits or give long speeches about our vision. We just pick up our tools and start working on whatever project is on the table. The light in the morning is quite good for seeing colors, which is helpful. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty because of the road outside, but we just clean it up and keep going. We are just local people who happen to be good at designing things. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just let the things we make speak for themselves.
