We are right on S V Road in Vile Parle West, specifically in the Ganganagar area. If you know Mumbai, you know how busy S V Road gets with the buses and the constant honking. Our place is at 144/9. We spend the whole day talking here, mostly because we are focused on English language training. It’s a small space, but we make it work. Students come in at all hours, some before work and some after college. We have a few classrooms with whiteboards and chairs that we move around for group discussions. It isn't a silent library; there is usually someone practicing their speaking or reading out loud. The building is older, but it serves its purpose for what we do. We keep a stack of books and newspapers around for anyone to pick up. Sometimes the noise from the street gets inside, but we just talk louder and stay focused on the lesson. Working in Vile Parle means we get a lot of different people, from students to older folks wanting to improve their grammar. We don’t do anything fancy. We just open up in the morning, clean the boards, and start the lessons for the day. It’s a lot of repetition, but that’s how learning a language works. Between classes, we might grab a snack from the vendors outside. It’s a basic, functional spot for people who want to learn. We have been at this for a while now.
