Apollo Bangalore Cradle in Jayanagar is right on 46th Cross in the 5th Block. If you know Jayanagar, you know it’s a busy place with lots of trees and people walking around. This building is mostly about moms and new babies. It can get pretty loud in the hallways with kids running around or babies crying, but that’s just how it is here. The staff stays on their feet most of the shift. We spend a lot of time moving between the rooms and the front desk. It isn't a massive hospital where you get lost, it’s a bit more contained than that. We have people coming in all day for check-ups or to visit family members. The parking around 5th Block is always a bit of a struggle, so we see people getting frustrated with that quite often. Inside, we try to keep things moving as smoothly as we can. There’s a lot of cleaning because babies need everything to be spotless. We don’t really do the big corporate talk here; we just focus on getting the paperwork done and making sure the rooms have fresh linens. It’s a lot of routine work, checking vitals, answering phones, and showing people where to go. Some of us have worked here for years and have seen many families come back for their second or third child. It’s just a regular part of the neighborhood now, sitting right there on the corner.
