Our place, Angana Hair Weaving Wig Centre, is at number 33 on Udhna Main Road, specifically in Banashankari 1st Stage. It is a busy road with a lot going on at all hours. When you come inside, it’s a different world from the noise outside. We have mirrors all over and different types of hair pieces on stands. It’s a practical space. We spend our time working with the hair, making sure everything looks right and fits how it’s supposed to. It takes a lot of patience and steady hands to get things perfect. Most days are spent sitting at the stations, focusing on the small details that people don't always see. We get people from all over who come in looking for something very specific to their needs. Some are a bit nervous when they first walk in, so we just try to keep things relaxed and normal. We don't use a lot of fancy words or try to sell things people don't need. We just show them what we have on the shelves. The shop isn’t very large, so we have to be careful about where we put things. Sometimes we run out of space for all the supplies we have to keep. It’s just a local shop where we do a very specific kind of work. We’ve been on Udhna Main Road for a good while, and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the neighborhood and the people who pass by every single day.
