You’ll find our facility at number 151 in the 3rd Phase of the Kiadb Peenya Industrial Area. It’s a massive industrial estate, so there’s always a lot of noise from all the different factories. Our shed is pretty standard for the area, with high ceilings and a lot of metal shelving. We deal with industrial production, so there’s always something being loaded or unloaded from the back of a truck. The air smells like oil and metal most days. We have a small staff of local guys who have been with us for a long time. The office is just a small partitioned area where we keep the records and handle the phones. It’s usually quite loud, so we have to shout a bit to be heard over the machinery. We start early in the morning when the air is still a bit cool. By midday, it gets quite stuffy inside, even with the big exhaust fans running. We don’t really do any marketing; our work usually comes from long-standing contracts and word of mouth in the industrial sector. It’s a tough environment but we’re used to it. The roads in Peenya can be a nightmare with the rain and the heavy trucks, but we manage to get our shipments out on time. It’s just a place where people work hard and try to get things done right. We don't have time for anything complicated or fancy, just the work.
