Our company, Adma Auto Components Pvt Ltd., is situated in Sirapatna. We are located right behind the Infosis campus. It’s a funny contrast because they have those huge, modern buildings with glass and gardens, and we are just back here doing our thing with auto components. The road to get to us can be a bit bumpy depending on the season. Our facility is built for function. We have the machines and the assembly areas laid out so we can move things around easily. It isn't a quiet place. There is always the sound of metal or the hum of the equipment running. We have a group of people here who have been with us for years. We don’t bother with fancy uniforms or corporate slogans. We just wear what’s comfortable and get to work. Being behind a name like Infosis helps people find us, but we are a completely different world back here. Sometimes the rain makes the area a bit messy, but we just deal with it. We take our breaks together and talk about the news or the cricket scores. It’s a very grounded way of running a business. We don’t put on any acts for anyone. If you come by, you’ll see us exactly as we are, working away in Sirapatna. It is a lot of effort every day, but we prefer it that way instead of being in some office block. It keeps us busy and the work is steady.
